WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30: Conyers Dill & Pearman has received positive reviews from clients and peers in international law firm league tables, as Bermuda remains a jurisdiction of choice for global cross border transactions.

Legal 500, a directory of law firms across the globe, has placed Conyers at the top of its recommendations for Bermuda trust, insurance, litigation and corporate work, describing it as “a truly excellent firm with great lawyers and great people.”

Conyers is the only law firm in Bermuda to receive top rankings in each area, reflecting the firm’s leadership and expertise across all of its practices.

Last month, US-based International Financial Law Review also placed Conyers’ Bermuda practice at the top of its 2011 Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms, and comments that “one client says Conyers is the best law firm on the island ... their overall technical knowledge is excellent.”

Earlier this year, Conyers was named Bermuda Firm of the Year by research agency Who’s Who Legal, the official research partner of the International Bar Association and strategic research partner of the ABA Section of International Law.

Conyers also received top rankings earlier this year from UK-based Chambers and Partners.

A spokesperson from Conyers said it “is delighted to receive these accolades and is pleased to report that a large number of Bermudian lawyers have also been recognized within these reviews.

“Conyers prides itself on providing the highest quality responsive, timely and thorough legal advice to clients in Bermuda and across the globe, and is pleased to play a role in ensuring that Bermuda remains a jurisdiction of choice for global transactions.”
