Three tankers will zero in on Bermuda this week to replenish the island’s fuel supplies.

Today, at around 5pm, the Evie PG will arrive in the East End to deliver jet fuel.

The vessel will come alongside at the Oil Docks in St George’s for just over 12 hours before leaving tomorrow.

She will be replaced at the Oil Docks by one of our regular tankers, Nord Princess, which is bringing in fuel for BELCO.

The trio of tankers will be made up by the Songa Challenge, which arrives in Bermuda at the weekend.

Her first port of call on Saturday will be the Oil Docks in St George’s to deliver gasoline.

On Sunday she’ll move up to Dockyard to restock diesel supplies in the West End.

Aside from the tankers there’s also plenty of cruise action this week.

The Norwegian Breakaway and Celebrity Summit are back in Dockyard today for respective two-night stays.

They both head back to the US on Friday and will be replaced at the weekend by the Explorer of the Seas, which gets in on Saturday, and the Norwegian Dawn and Grandeur of the Seas, which arrive on Sunday.

The container ship Bermuda Islander arrives tomorrow, and the Oleander will be back in Hamilton again on is Sunday afternoon.
