The Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) and Chivas Regal recognized Rodney Trott of Bailey’s Bay CC as the inaugural winner of the weekly Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award, as well as congratulate Keishun Smith for his achievements overseas.In the match between Bailey's Bay and Devonshire Recreation Club Trott constantly assisted Devonshire Rec's captain with various aspects of the playing conditions and properly managed his players and kept them well within the Spirit of the Game.
Lloyd Fray, President of the BCB, said in a press release: "I am proud of our national team vice-captain Rodney Trott for his outstanding display of sportsmanship and chivalry during his match against Devonshire Recreation Club.  Rodney has set a great example to both our younger and more senior players."
Smith has been making strides in the UK cricket world, being named to the first team of Knowle and Dorridge in the Warwickshire Cricket League.  He will be joining national team member David Hemp. Lloyd Fray stated, "The BCB is extremely pleased to hear that Keishun is doing so well in the UK.”
