Where will you go for New Year's Eve?
Byline info is not available
Friday, December 28, 2007 9:25 AM
Mr. Bombastic: Reggae artist Shaggy will be performing with Bermuda’s very own Collie Buddz at the Par-La-Ville Car Park.
With parties from Somerset to St. George's and everywhere in between, New Year's Eve is going to be huge in Bermuda.
Wherever you live, whatever your musical tastes, whether you want intimate and chilled or loud and thumping, there's something happening for you.
It's the night everyone looks forward to and as usual, it's tipped to be the biggest party night of the year.
But Monday, December 31 is just four days away, so have you decided where you're going yet? It's no good leaving it until the last-minute as tickets are selling quickly.
Let the Bermuda Sun help you decide where to party with our summary of some of the hottest parties taking place around the island this New Year's Eve.
Berkeley Institute
If you want some glitz and glamour, 'Hollywood' is the New Year' Eve event to go to.
You will get to walk the red carpet, complete with paparazzi style photography, you'll be given a quick interview by Style Bermuda and a free commemorative photo.
On the mainstage from 9pm to 11pm, the line up includes Soulfully Acoustic, Jazel, Sia Spence, Jah (Two Fools), Bermuda Tri, Twanae Butterfield and Seabreeze Salsa. If that isn't enough, there will also be a buffet.
Then the countdown begins to carry you from the old year into the new with DJ's including Juggin J, Rodigun, D'General and from Barbados, The F.I. VJ's.
The party has been organized by Barmuvinjam and includes awards for the best dressed, judged by Show Off. A buffet dinner will also be served.
There will also be a champagne toast at midnight, party favours, sponsor giveaways, door prizes and lots more.
