MLB Extra Innings – starting April 16 on digital Pay-Per-View:

Baseball fans — it’s back! The 2012 Major League Baseball season of the MLB Extra Innings package starts on April 16, and will feature more than 2,000 baseball game telecasts during the regular season, including up to 80 games each week. Cost is $210 for the full season.

Following on the success of Storage Wars, in which people bid on the abandoned contents of storage lockers, Baggage Battles features auctions of unclaimed luggage left behind at various airports around the world.

The special one-hour season opener starts at Miami Airport, where many a bag has gone astray, never to be reunited with its owner, then on to London where nearly half a million bags get lost or left behind each year. I’ll be watching to see if the bag I lost in 2008 reappears somewhere.

Filmed in Nigeria and South Africa, this dramatic series takes us into a world shrouded in mystery, where family dynasties battle for control of the continent’s rich oil resources. The Great American Manhunt – Series Premiere, Thursday, April 19 at 10pm, on National Geographic:

In this new, eight-part series, forensic experts are challenged with the task of revealing the identity of living individuals who have made a special mark on society through their work and achievements. The experts will be employing the latest advances in forensic science, but also their legendary intuition and clue-busting skills. The team consists of forensic anthropologist Dr Natalie Shirley, forensic psychiatrist Dr Dan Shapiro and veteran police officer Bill Erfurth. “This series is like a real-life CSI episode, with a great twist,” says Kathleen Cromley, executive producer for National Geographic. “In this instance, all of the clues lead to a living, breathing person - and the journey along the way is great fun.”
