Inversion presents a programme of music that demonstrates the versatility of the organ with flute.

Organizers say: “The musicians deftly demonstrate how the different and changeable tone colours on the flute can be echoed and blended on the organ with the organ’s matched use of air and pipes.”

The programme includes: Flute Quartet in D Major; Cantabile; Pastorale,  3rd movement; Fantasia on Down Ampney; Fantaisie in E flat; Facade; Sonata in E minor; Meditation on Brother James’ Air; Canon in D major; Sonata for Flute & Organ.

Inversion is at Wesley Church, Hamilton tonight at 8pm. Visit bdatix.bm for tickets — $65 for adults or $25 for students.
