Lantana has reemerged as a summer nightlife venue.

The former luxury hotel resort property on the water’s edge in Somerset, got a new lease of life with bermuda.com’s The Diamond Standard.  Revellers were lured to the start of summer event on the promise of sophisticated company, breathtaking views and good music. Some drove, some arrived on the bermuda.com chartered ferry from Hamilton and a few used their own floating vessel to get there.

“Everybody who has come here tonight says the place looks as beautiful as it did back in the day,” bermuda.com general manager Glenn Jones told a video crew from entertainment website Vybez Alliance.  “We want to bring Lantana back – that chic, sophisticated nightlife.”

Premier Paula Cox made the trip to Lantana for The Diamond Standard with her husband and was seen sampling an Atlantic Sunshine, a drink served complimentary to guests.

Fashion house Mambo put on a fashion show for the audience just as the sun was setting. Working Title provided live music and DJ D-Nice played into the night under a full moon.
