A wide smile broke across Rian Garaghty-McDonnell's face as he found out he won the trip for two to Legoland, Florida. Rian pumped his fist in the air twice as a gracious Gabriel Jones, first runner-up, congratulated him.

The pair were two of the nine finallists for the 2014 Lego Building Competition, sponsored by The Annex Toys.

Rian's America Cup slipped past Gabriel's Gombey by just one vote in a vote taken on Saturday afternoon at The Annex Toys.

Carter Bernard, 7, was the second runner-up and had made the finals by winning the 4 to 7 age category with his creation of a Dell computer.
