THURSDAY, SEPT. 6: The hospital's Blood Donor Centre predicts it will be looking for potential blood donors next week to replenish supplies after Hurricane Leslie.

A statement released by the hospital said: "The Blood Donor Centre at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital will be seeking blood donations next week to replenish supplies used through Hurricane Leslie.

"Members of the public are urged to contact the Blood Donor Centre beginning Monday, 10 September at 236-5067 to arrange for an appointment

"A word of appreciation is extended to anyone in the community willing to help replenish blood stocks at the hospital."
