Mujib Swan, a zookeeper at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo, feeds Gizmo, a ring-tailed lemur and just one of the many animals cared for at BAMZ.

Gizmo and roommate Zulu will be incorporated into the upcoming Islands of Madagascar exhibit, housed in the new animal care facility, which broke ground for construction Wednesday, May 18. The new building will include a modern animal hospital whose services will be made available to local animals and wildlife. It will consist of an all-purpose diagnostic and treatment room, a recovery room, and quarantine facilities for zoo animals, and will solidify BAMZâs reputation as a world class conservation and educational institution.
