TUESDAY, MAY 31: A 27-year-old man was today charged with possession of a stun gun.

Earl Basden pleaded not guilty to one count of possessing a prohibited weapon, namely a Barracuda stun gun, on May 27 in Pembroke.

Mr Basden elected for the matter to be heard in Magistrates’ Court and will stand trial on September 7.

He was represented by Charles Richardson and given $5,000 bail with one surety.
