Bermuda's Collie Buddz is bringing his friend Shaggy to the island for the biggest party night of the year.

The two reggae stars will be the headlining acts at a New Year's Eve Party from 8pm to 3am at Par-La-Ville car park.

Collie, who is signed to Sony, is currently seeing worldwide acclaim with his debut self-titled album.

Shaggy, who is Jamaican, performed in Bermuda at the very start of his musical career and has gone on to have success with hits such as 'Oh Carolina', 'Boombastic' and 'It Wasn't Me'.

The two performers have both featured on each other's albums and both use Big Yard Recording Studios in New York.

Collie said: "Shaggy's cool, we're friends, we have a mutual respect. It's going to be a huge party, it's the biggest night of the year."

Collie will be backed by Homegrown, while Shaggy has the 15-piece Big Yard Band featuring Rik Rok and Rayvon. Opening acts will include Homegrown, Roache Killer, CDaynger with sounds by Herbalist Supreme and Vybez Alliance.

Tickets are on sale at the i-Store, Music World and Gosling's retail outlets and Audio Visual. They cost $125 and include a welcome cocktail and champagne toast.
