Premier Ewart Brown is actively looking to hire a bodyguard. The news follows a security scare at the Cabinet Building yesterday when police had to restrain a man who appeared drunk and who was demanding to see the Premier. Two Cabinet staff dealt with the man in the morning, but he came back in the afternoon, which is when police were called.

Dr. Brown has a bodyguard when he travels abroad but he doesn't have anyone but the chief of staff, Wayne Caines, when he is Bermuda.

A source told us: "The Premier, like any head of state, wants to have the proper security with him at all times."
