WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16: Tropical Storm Sean forced the Islander to delay her arrival into Bermuda by a couple of days last week.

She came into Hamilton on Saturday after waiting 450 miles offshore for 36 hours while the bad weather passed by.

The Islander left the same day but is still playing catch-up.

She gets in on Friday morning this week as opposed to her usual Thursday morning slot. The cement silos were replenished by the arrival of the Diego on Saturday.

While the Oder Gas is expected to bring in fuel to the Oil Docks off St George’s on Friday.

The next batch of new Japanese cars is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but if the forecasted bad weather materializes then the Dionyson Leader may put her arrival back by a week.

Today the cruise ship Grand Princess and 2,500 passengers arrive in Dockyard.

It’s the ship’s only trip to Bermuda of 2011.

She originates in the Azores and is heading to Fort Lauderdale this afternoon.

The Enchantment of the Seas made her 16th and final trip of the year to Bermuda earlier this week.

There are now only four more cruise ships due in this year.

Finally, the Somers Isles leaves this morning from Hamilton bound for Florida while the Oleander is due in on Sunday.
