Many Bermudians will be taking in English football on Sunday to cheer on Nahki Wells at Wembley.

But where will you watch the game? How about CedarBridge Academy for free?

A live screening of the Capital One Cup final featuring Bradford FC and Swansea City will be shown on a big screen at CedarBridge Academy.

The event begins at 10am and is being held under the distinguished patronage of Wayne Scott, Minister of Community and Culture Affairs.

Kick-off is at 12pm.

Family event

Declan Harris of Veterans in Action is organizing the event and Star Time is producing it.

Mr Harris said the screening will be for the whole family with a fun castle on site.

He said: “Join us at this free family event and come support Bermuda’s own Nahki Wells.”

“It is going to take place in a non-offensive fun filled environment, catering to both young and old. Bermudians can come out and support one of our own being showcased at one of football's premier stages - Wembley.”

“This is an experience that people will remember for a long time, regardless of the outcome. We will be cheering Nahki from afar with our voices, whistles and air horns. Come one and come all.”

There will also be traditional codfish and potato breakfast with all the trimmings on sale for $10.

All proceeds will be donated in Wells’ name to the Dandy Town Youth Football Programme.

Sponsors include BBC, WOW, Digicel, Western Union, Bermuda's Best, Sea Venture, Pepsi and Somers Supermart.

There will be free giveaways at halftime such as gift vouchers, football jerseys and much more.
