A 34-year-old Warwick man admitted possessing cannabis and cannabis resin last December during this morning’s session of Plea Court.

Crown Counsel Loxley Ricketts told Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner that on December 21 last year, Jace Lavigne, of Cobbs Hill, was searched by officers on patrol after appearing suspicious while standing on Malabar Road.

As a result, they found a clear plastic bag and a paper twist containing plant-like material and an off white powder respectively.

After Government analysis it was revealed Lavigne had 4.26 grammes of cannabis and 0.07 grammes of cannabis resin.

Mr. Warner fined the man $800.
