FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4: Beyonce claims Women rule the world, while that is up to debate, they definitely will rule the road and sea on Sunday.

The SheROX Bermuda Triathlon will take place at the Fairmont Southampton.

It is the last leg of the nine race women only SheROX Triathlon series.

More than 200 women are expected to take part in the 0.8K swim, 20K bike and 5K run.

Barb McKeever, SheRox series director, said: “With one of the most beautiful race courses in all of triathlon, we’re excited to bring the SheROX experience back to Bermuda this weekend.”

The Race will begin on Sunday morning with a swim in the waters of the protected cove of East Whale Bay at The Fairmont Southampton’s Beach Club. The bike and run courses along South Road will provide one of the most scenic sprint tri courses in the sport.

SheROX Bermuda’s special guest this year is Jenn Sommermann, an ovarian cancer survivor, who has set a goal to race a triathlon in all 50 of the United States by the time she turns 50 years old in an effort to raise $100,000 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, the official charitable partner of the 2011 SheROX Series.
