Boxer Teresa Perozzi won't be pulling any punches in her final bout with single life.

The female middleweight champion will be in a different kind of ring ceremony when she weds fisherman Andre Outerbridge on November 1.

The couple will marry at Sinky Bay, near the former Sonesta Beach Resort in Southampton, where Andre grew up.

Teresa describes Andre, who is known as Chunka, as her "diamond in the rough". She added: "It's not a surprise, it's something we've always wanted.

"We've been talking about getting married for a couple of years but I had cold feet. Now I've come to my senses!

"There was no romantic proposal, it was Cup Match this year and he was like, 'Are you serious? Let's get a ring'." Teresa met her match four-and-a-half years ago through her 12-year-old son Micah, whose best friend was Andre's son Isaiah, who is the same age.

The boys will be groomsmen at the wedding and "can't wait to be real brothers".

Teresa fell in love with Andre as he has such a "good heart." She said: "He'll do absolutely anything for me. He's a beautiful person who is there for me no matter what.

"Although he's not an athlete, he supports my training and boxing.

"People always tease him about my boxing but he says he's a street fighter so he can handle me!"
