The torrential rains from Saturday night and early Sunday morning have left Bernard Park flooded in areas.

The Appleby Bermuda Half Marathon Derby as well as the Junior Heritage Day Classic will end there on Monday.

The island has certainly seen Bernard Park in worse condition than it is in today, and with good weather for the rest of Sunday, some of the flooded areas could dry up enough to just be soggy for the crowds and the runners that will congregate there tomorrow.

Back in February, Dutton Avenue was closed for almost two weeks after several rainstorms hit Bermuda flooding Bernard Park the worst it has been in years.

A few ducks, along with several other birds, are enjoying the wet conditions at the park.
