He’s made a blistering start to the season with three goals in three games.

Now Nahki Wells heads to Port Vale with his Bradford City team-mates looking to make it four in four.

And the Bermudian goes into the game with a ringing endorsement from team-mate Mark Yeates, who has been equally influential in the Bantams’ good start.

He told the Telegraph and Argus: “Just training with the lad you can see he’s alive and quick and he’s got two good feet. He was probably disappointed to only come away with one goal last week but that will happen in time. He’s a good finisher.”
