That was the reaction from driver Catrina Adcock when she found out that Speed Time had tied the track record of 1:04 flat.
The gelding, co-owned by Adcock and her husband Aaron Sims and out of the Spicelands Riding stable, drew the inside rail and blasted out of the start gate and galloped around the Vesey Street track with a mission.
Not only did Speed Time tie the track record, he also broke the gelding record of 1:04 2/5.
This is the first year the pair are working with Speed Time as he used to be owned by Charles Whited the previous two years.
Sims said: "Charles was at our barn and I had friends away and I hooked him up with them. He's raced him the last two years, but if he went to sell, he would offer him to us."
He added that Sunday's race will be only the seventh of the season so there is potential for Speed Time to go even faster.
"The season's not over yet," Sims said. "I think he's got more in him. It's hard to tell because breaking the four (1:04) is hard, but everyone thinks he's got the low threes in him."
Adcock said: "To be honest, I've never driven a pony like this one. He's unbelievably fast.
She said that Speed Time can be a bit 'funny' behind the starter's gate and wants to dart off to the right after the start car leaves the track.
"When you have ponies on your right side, that's not good because you don't want interference and end up being disqualified."
"I started on the rail and the only way you're going to break a track record here is you have to start on the rail. Our track is too small to try and break it from the second or third position.
"We had a perfect start. It couldn't have been any better."
She added the weather was perfect and the track was in good condition - all setting the table for the record run.
Sims added: "The conditions have to be perfect and it just worked in our favour."
After bolting out of the start, Speed Time had a good lead.
"He was just gone and I couldn't see what's behind me," Adcock said. "To be honest, it didn't feel that fast. I was going for it, trying to get a fast time, but at the end of the race it didn't feel that fast."
Sims said unofficial timers told him that Speed Time had done 1:03 3/5 and knew it was a special run.
He said: "I told Catrina they're not making it up - it should be a quick time."
Track officials reran the tape of the race to confirm the timing and made the announcement.
Sims said: " Then they announced he had tied the track record and broke the gelding record."
Sims added: "I was real excited."
They celebrated with a party at Spicelands Riding Centre.
Sims said besides lowering the track record, Speed Time should be in good position to win the Champion of Champions and stake races later this season.[[In-content Ad]]
