FRIDAY, NOV. 2: Governor George Fergusson is speaking.

And that's it. 

He is wrapping it up now. He says he is looking forward to working with the Government to help with gang violence and the economy. 

He hopes the upcoming election campaign will be fair and informative. 

Real Estate agents may have to be licensed. 

Government will look at if pensions to see if they are at appropriate levels. 

Government will look at practices by debt collection agencies.

Government will look to give help to those who are in danger of losing their homes.

Government's web portal will get a revamp. 

The creation of a standing judicial service commission to advise on judicial appointments. 

The Bermuda Human Rights Act does not meet the standard for the 21st century. A new act will be introduced that addresses both sexual orientation and age. 

Conscription will end for the Bermuda Regiment and allow for more full-time soldiers. 

Government is in discussion with the YMCA to develop turnkey facilities in Bermuda. 

Government has developed a National youth policy... the best way to keep youth out of trouble is to give them constructive to do. 

Government will provide sight-seeing opportunities for seniors in care centres. 

The BIU Credit Union will get grant funding. 

A homeless shelter will be a priority.

More elevated crossings in front of schools will happen.

Parish Councils will be strengthened.

St George's Golf Course will be reopened.

Olympic medallist Clarence Hill will get a bronze stature honouring his achievement. 

Each parish council will have its own Sports Hall of Fame.

Government will do more to support sports clubs to help them become more family friendly and financially stable. 

Generic medicines will be 100 per cent covered in FutureCare.

The Ministry of Health will look at punitive measures on junk food and tobacco products and fast food restaurants may have to show calorie counts on food items.

Bermuda must work together to keep health care costs down and health care quality up. 

More early screening will take place to ID any learning disabilities. 

A revision of the Government scholarship process will happen.

The Ministry of Education will have regular consultation with PTAs. 

The rest of the of the world is recovering, which should bode well for Bermuda.

The Immigration Department promises to streamline the process.

Bermuda will aim to build better relationships and business opportunities with the UAE and Qatar.

A new Bermuda aquaculture strategy will be introduced.

Green technology zones will be introduced.

Bermuda will be a leader in "blue technology" in taking advantage of marine-based industries. 

He said special housing will be sold to tourists.

Bermuda is stronger because the people have stood together.

"Bermuda has fought a good economic fight."

He said seeds have been sown for a "future prosperity".

He said the only thing that matters for most Bermudians is having a decent job. 

He added many who have lost a job ended up starting their own business. 

Governor George Fergusson said Bermuda is poised to recover in 2013 with the number of active businesses in 2012 increasing and tourism numbers should increase.

The Lord's Prayer is being said jointly by all.

Randy Horton enters with a cane. He recently had knee surgery, which is a result of old football injuries.

For many of the politicians this will be their last Throne Speech as an MP, either due to retirement or being voted out from the coming election. Speaker of the House Stanley Lowe is one who will be stepping done.

The MPs are starting to enter now.

Everyone is milling about getting ready for Throne Speech. There's a slight breeze. The Governor has just arrived.
