Woman denies stealing cheques from Bermuda Motors
A 24-year-old woman today denied a slew of theft and forgery charges.
Anthanay Steede denied stealing three Butterfield Bank cheques belonging to Bermuda Motors, using the cheques at Cell One and buying Samsung Smartphone with a cheque.
She also denied using the cheques at Modern Mart and buying various items of groceries with the cheques.
The offences allegedly happened between January 21 and February 26.
Ms Steede will stand trial in July and was granted $1,000 bail with one surety.
