Stevedoring Services and BIU reviewing Tribunal's decision

First, we would like to thank the Arbitration Tribunal for their hard work in deliberating a complex situation and reaching their decision. As stated by them, they hoped that the decision would provide a framework that was workable and encouraged cooperation among both parties.

In that spirit, Stevedoring Services Limited and the Portworkers Division of the Bermuda Industrial Union are reviewing the Tribunal's decision which applies to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for 2011 to 2013. 

This has been discussed with the Portworkers Division and in preparation for working together to formulate a CBA with forward thinking for 2013 to 2015, the BIU and Stevedoring Services Ltd. will work together to create a strong and stable environment that will benefit the shareholders, the employees, and Bermuda.
