Escape from Planet Earth is an animated adventure about a heroic alien astronaut named Scorch Supernova (voiced by Brendan Fraser) who’s tricked into landing on Earth and is subsequently jailed at Area 51.
Scorch is a big shot on his home planet, but it’s thanks to his quiet, nerdy brother (Rob Corddry) that he’s achieved such recognition — and it’s his steadfast brother who journeys to Earth to rescue him.
A cute and funny film that has enough in it to keep the adults amused and the kids well entertained.
