Former Mexican President to speak at Capital G conference

Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón will be the keynote speaker at the 2013 Capital G Private Wealth Conference to be held April 11, 2013 at the Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda.

President Calderón served as the 56th President of Mexico from December 2006 – November 2012.  He made economic reform a top priority of his administration, implementing policies that catapulted Mexico into a powerful player in the global economy. Despite tumultuous economic times, Mexico has demonstrated astounding economic resilience and growth. His experience as an influential policymaker, both in Mexico and on the world stage, puts Calderón in a unique position to assess the transforming world economy and business impacts. Named one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World,” Calderón confronted issues head on in order to elevate Mexico to a more powerful world player.
