Man denies growing marijuana
A 26-year-old man appeared in court today charged with growing marijuana.
Makki Talbot Foote pleaded not guilty to possession of cannabis, cultivating cannabis and possession of a coffee grinder to use in connection with a controlled drug in Smith’s parish on October 27.
The court heard the drugs in question are eight marijuana seedlings and a plastic container with 13.47 grams of it.
The matter was adjourned for trial on June 4.
Mr Foote was given $5,000 bail.
