Woman fined for ‘harassing’ her son
A mother who breached a domestic violence order by contacting her son was today fined $500.
Nichole Renee Williams, 42, yelled out at her son yesterday morning as she walked past his job at Ferry Reach.
She said: “Come punch me in my face. You’re f**king rude. I’ll never forgive you”.
The court heard she has been harassing her son and his fiancé for years.
Crown counsel Susan Mulligan told the court she would repeatedly call his phone and harass him.
This behaviour led to a domestic violence order being put in place by the Women’s Resource Centre.
She is not allowed to come within 200 metres of his job or to have any contact with him.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner sentenced Williams to a $500 fine.
He warned her not to breach the order again.
