BF&M retains 'A' rating

FRIDAY, AUGUST 12: Rating agency AM Best has affirmed its A (Excellent) financial strength ratings for BF&M’s two principal companies.

The standard was confirmed for BF&M General Insurance Company Ltd and BF&M Life Insurance Company Ltd.

AM Best cited “BF&M General’s consistent overall profitability, excellent capitalization, and top line premium growth”.

It also cited “BF&M Life’s consistently reported positive net income and premium growth for the past five years”.

Strength

John Wright, president & CEO, said: “We were very pleased to be informed by AM Best of the financial strength ratings for our companies.

“These are the strongest financial strength ratings of any Bermuda domestic insurance company”.
