Every penny counts

We all have pennies, somewhere. In back pockets, purses, kitchen drawers — even lost under the sofa. So why not make use of them? When you put them all together they can add up to hundreds of dollars.

When employees at The Fairmont Southampton and the Fairmont Hamilton Princess were asked to gather all their loose change over a year, they raised $616.50 and donated it to The Eliza Dolittle Society. Now in its second year, the Cents for Life fundraising idea was thought up by Rochelle Quinn, executive director of conference services and Discover Bermuda at The Fairmont Southampton.

Anyone interested in donating their pennies can take them to Administration Office at the Fairmont Southampton.
