No bus service as drivers leave for meeting (Update)
The outcome of the meeting has yet to be announced and it is understood that union officials are seeking a further meeting with Transport bosses this afternoon before going public with their decision.
The union has a dispute with the Department of Public Transportation over a bus driver who was involved in a minor accident seven weeks ago.
The woman was suspended and union bosses say the Department of Public Transportation (DPT) failed to follow the correct drug testing procedure.
But a DPT spokesman said the bus driver had repeatedly refused to take the test. He said she also failed to report the accident straight away.[[In-content Ad]]
