Octopus picks Kaymer to win PGA Grand Slam of Golf
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14: Germany’s Martin Kaymer is predicted to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf next week.
Well, if you believe in eight-legged prognosticator.
Squirt, an octopus at the Bermuda Aquarium & Zoo choose PGA champion Kaymer to win the event over U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell, three-time major champion Ernie Els and 2001 PGA champion David Toms.
The eight-legged selection process comes in the wake of another of the aquarium’s octopuses who attempted to predict the winner of the 2010 Cup Match Classic this past summer.
Whodini chose Somerset over Cup-holder St. George’s. Squirt is hoping for a more reliable prediction tomorrow when contemplating a choice between four champions from the world of golf.
The PGA Grand Slam takes place in Bermuda next week at the Port Royal Golf Course.
