Pearman wins title
WEDNESDAY, JULY 6: Dwayne Pearman poured himself another win on the Jack Daniels Golf Tour on Monday at the Sea Horses Fairmont Southampton event.
Pearman carded a one over par 55 to pick up the $330 purse.
He was even par on the front nine with Anthony Mocklow hot on his heels on his home course at one back, which was matched by Chris Grantier.
Those two ended up drifting back as Derriek Douglas made his charge, but in the end, Douglas finished a stroke behind Pearman and won $150.
Grantier ended in third on 57 (+3) while Mocklow finished in fourth on 58 (+4). Grantier’s cheque for his performance was $100 while Mocklow pocketed $80.
With Pearman’s win he also pocketed the Sea Horse Bonus of $100.
Alex Madeiros was tied for fifth on 59 with Daniel Augustus and Clevie Tucker. They all earned $13 each.
