SUNDAY, MARCH 4: Premier Paula Cox will host a series of town hall meetings to discuss the 2012 budget.
The first will be held on March 6 at Clearwater Middle School at 7:30pm.
A press statement said: “The Premier is encouraging residents to attend this Tuesday's meeting, as it will be an opportunity for members of the community to come and hear firsthand from the Premier and Cabinet Ministers about what Budget 2012/13 entails and what it means for them.”
Wayne Perinchief, National Security Minister, Wayne Furbert, Tourism and Business Development Minister and Michael Weeks, Public Works Minister will join Ms Cox on Tuesday.
Additional meetings will be held on March 15, at the Port Royal Primary School in Southampton and on March 27, at the Victor Scott Primary School.
All meetings will start at 7.30 pm.
The meetings are in keeping with the “Let’s Build One Another Together” Budget 2012 Town Hall Sessions series.
