Read dating: Make a 'romantic connection' at the library

TUESDAY, FEB. 7: The Bermuda National Library (BNL) is advising the public that it will be hosting a pre-Valentine’s event called Read Dating on February 9, 2012.

According to the BNL, one of the main purposes of putting on this event is to bring about a wider awareness of the adult library’s services to the public, against the backdrop of a fun, social and interactive initiative.

Read Dating is essentially a modified version of the popular activity of Speed Dating – which involves individuals interacting with each other within a fixed timeframe, in an effort to make a romantic connection.

The upcoming BNL Read Dating event involves individuals reading a book of their choice and mingling with other participants.

At a fixed timeframe, an event moderator will take the opportunity to highlight the services and programmes on hand at the BNL.

Interested individuals in the upcoming Read Dating event are encouraged to either call the BNL at 295-2905. Registration deadline is February 7, 2012.
