Show celebrates the power of the human mind

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: The paper and canvasses are bursting with colour and energy in the upcoming MindFrame exhibition opening tonight.

Celebrating the “power of art and the human mind” the art show includes paintings, photography and creative writing.

Created by clients at the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute, it opens at the Bermuda Society of Arts from 5pm to 7pm.

Exhibition participant BettyAnn Pierre (painting bottom right) said: “As I’m maturing, art helps me express how I feel. It also gives me a feeling of serenity and comfort.  It makes me feel alive, even excited, and I enjoy sharing it with people,” she says. “Being part of mind frame makes me more creative and is challenging. I enjoy fellowship with the other people and they give me competition, so I have to work harder. I have fun there and laugh, I come alive.”
