Slanger adds splash to People's Market reopening

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 1: The People’s Market will reopen on Saturday at CedarBridge Academy with many unique items on sale and live performances.

Goods range from household items, affordable used books, cool knick-knacks, unique handbags, clothing and more.

In addition to the market, there will also be live entertainment provided by CKC Spotlight Talent Management. These will include family-oriented games and a Kids Zone with fun castles and loads of fun for children of all ages.

Weekly themes, such as Community, Children, Spotlight Talent and more will keep locals and tourists entertained.

There will also be food stalls with tasty food and the senior citizen’s café just for seniors.

This Saturday, Bermudian reggae artist Slanger will be at the market signing his latest CD, Good Ova Evil. He will perform live at 3 pm.

 Other entertainers for the day include rap-signing duo Vonnie Cash and Swagga Prince, gospel entertainers Big Snipes and Friends and the III Kings hip hop group.

The PHC Majorette group, H&H Gombeys and Place’s Gombeys will also welcome the community to this awesome weekly event for the entire family.
