Volunteers needed for Coaching for Success

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10: The Coaching for Success teaching programme at Sandys Secondary Middle School is in need of 20 volunteers to help launch to full capacity.

Volunteer enrollment manager Carla Zuill said: "While we are grateful for those in the community who have come aboard, we are still very short at Sandys Secondary Middle School.

“Since the programme launched, it has always been a bit more challenging finding education coaches in the west end, and the same has been true this year.”


Ms Zuill said that all potential education coaches for Sandys Secondary Middle School should come forward as soon as possible as training commences Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm and will then continue all day Saturday and Sunday.

“Our training sessions are in depth,” continued Ms Zuill. “We want education coaches fully prepared for the work they will be engaging in with students. Ultimately, thorough training of volunteers leads to successful outcomes for our youth."
