Workshop could light up your love life

How would you like to turn your relationship from ordinary to extraordinary?

This transformation is entirely possible according to internationally renowned intuitive counsellor, educator and best selling author Colette Baron-Reid, who is in Bermuda next month to give a special relationship workshop called The Alchemy of Love.

The workshop will be held at Fairmont Hamilton Princess Resort on October 2 from 10am to 4 pm.

She claims the workshop can help you learn the truth about soul mates and how to attract and create the right relationship for you.

“A soul mate is another person who, by entering in to your life, enables you the greatest amount of personal growth,” Ms Baron-Reid explained. “It is always a transformative relationship.

“There is a misconception that a soul mate is ­supposed to be a ‘perfect ­relationship’ but sometimes they are here to help us grow into the highest version of ourselves.”

She described her ‘target audience’ for the workshop as either single men or women looking for the right relationship or ­people who are having difficulty with their current ­partners.

She explained: “Of course everyone is ­welcome, but the course is designed for people who have had difficulty in their past relationships and have found themselves in repetitive patterns and are now ready to have a soulful, joyous, fulfilled relationship.

“The biggest mistake ­couples make in relationships is ignoring ‘red flags’ — either in searching for a relationship or ones that come up in the relationship they are in now.”

She promises that anyone attending her workshop will gain a greater perspective on the subject of relationships and also experience a transformational process that will help them understand their patterns in their relationships or ­attract the one of their dreams.

Despite her ­conviction that relationships are ­continually transforming and need to be nurtured she said that sometimes it is simply time to throw in the towel.

“You know intuitively when you have outgrown someone,” she said. “For example, you can’t make a relationship work with a womanizer.

“Once a relationship has eroded past trust or acceptance, it’s time to move on.

“When someone is ­unhealthy for you, you shouldn’t try to make it ‘work’.

“A relationship with longing and yearning as it’s base can never work.”

Ms Baron-Reid can be ­described as a motivational speaker, psychic, recording artist, broadcast personality, and acclaimed ­performer, storyteller and recording artist.

Through a 22 -year practice that has been built strictly by word of mouth, she has advised more than 50,000 clients in 29 countries around the world.

She has also toured for three years as the opening speaker for the popular New York Times best ­selling author, psychic Sylvia Browne.

She has been featured on Oprah and Friends with Dr. Mehmet Oz, George Noory’s Coast To Coast among others.

An ‘average day’ for Ms Baron-Reid begins with her waking up at 5am, doing individual ‘readings’ for her overseas clientele until 8am, hosting a call-in radio show, then do readings again in the afternoon.

She writes a column for a Canadian magazine as well as travels regularly to host workshops and seminars.

“People have repetitive relationship patterns which could be stopping them from finding the right relationship,” she said. “My focus is on finding out what they are — sometimes they are very subtle.

“Sometimes someone has an abandoning father and they wonder why every man they date ends up abandoning them.

“My job is to show people what they need to heal.

“People that attend this workshop are going to know exactly what they want in a relationship and the techniques to attract the right relationship for them.”
