Outlaws defeat Storm

The Storm went down to a 57-43 defeat to the Outback Outlaws in the CellOne Elite City League.

Outlaws were out for revenge having suffered defeat to Storm in their previous meeting.

The Storm forged a lead with five minutes to go — only for the Outlaws to turn to their closer Dean Jones, who scored a game high 28 points.

The Storm, who lost their  leader Steven Simons to a knee injury, did have Jaron Haley in top form scoring 17 points.

The All-Star weekend, before the mid-season break, is this Saturday at Somersfield Academy. 

The action gets under way at 7:30pm.
