A 25-year-old man appeared in court today charged with a home invasion from last July.
Jerome Mader was charged with entering a North Shore Road home to steal, with an imitation firearm on July 24, 2012.
He is charged with using an imitation firearm to commit an indictable offence, burglary.
Finally, Mr Mader was also charged with having a firearm with him while committing an indictable offence, burglary.
The defendant is the third man to be charged with this home invasion. Tyun Smith-Ming and Justis Smith are awaiting trial, set for October on the same charges.
Crown counsel Nicole Smith indicated she would be seeking to join Mr Mader to the same information as Mr Smith-Ming and Mr Smith.
Mr Mader was remanded into custody until next month.
