Man on gun and drugs charges

A Sandys man appeared in court this morning in connection with Tuesday's firearm arrest.

Ramano Mills, 26, was charged with having a firearm and ten rounds of ammunition when not the holder of a license.

He was also charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply and violently resisting arrest twice.

Mr Mills was not required to enter pleas as the matters are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Mills into custody for two weeks.
