Woman denies drug smuggling
A 40-year-old woman today denied attempting to smuggle drugs into Bermuda.
Mayanasha Burch pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others not before the court to import the controlled drug cannabis between a date unknown and March 13.
No details of the case were given.
Ms Burch was not represented and will face trial in July.
She was granted $15,000 bail with one surety.
