English Sports Shop hosts model search

The English Sports Shop is looking for local models to be featured on the company’s new website.

If you are a man or woman between the ages of 27 and 45, it could be you.

Julia Currelly, buyer for The English Sports Shop Group explained what the company is looking for.

“Our website is launching soon and we need a variety of models, both male and female, in a broad spectrum of ages.

“We are looking for people who epitomize the English Sports Shop style.

“If your look is clean-cut, fun-loving and classic, if you are comfortable in madras shorts, cotton sundresses and cashmere sweaters and if you like sailing, golf and tennis, then we want to see your photos.”

Ms Currelly is looking for between six to 12 models.

Females should be 5’7 and taller and men should be 6ft and taller.

The models should be photogenic with experience in print modelling and be on island for the month of May.

Only Bermudians, spouses of Bermudians and holders of current modelling work permits will be considered.

“Most importantly, we are looking for vibrant personalities that will make for some fantastic images,” she added.’

“Our priority is to find models for the website photography but we are always looking for "house models’ for all of the stores for advertising and special events.

“The opportunity for on-going work with Cecile, Lusso and Boutique CC is definitely a possibility.”

She continued: “Our website will reach an international audience so this is a great opportunity to represent Bermuda.

“We are working with the talented Alex Masters so there will be great shots for your portfolio.

“If you've never modeled before don't be afraid to submit.

“We are a fun group to work with and need a diverse range of looks, so you don't have to be a Giselle Bundchen look-alike to try out.”

Potential models should submit via email their name, age, height, weight, email, phone numbers and three photos of yourself – close up, full body and swim suit.
