Alleged escapee in court
A 22-year-old man was today remanded into custody after he denied escaping custody and other offences involving police officers.
Prinston Burrows pleaded not guilty to assaulting PC Joell on May 5 in Sandy’s.
He also denied violently resisting arrest and escaping lawful custody on the same date.
The matter was adjourned for trial on May 9.
Mr Burrows was remanded into custody.
