Driver denies causing serious injuries while impaired
A Warwick man today denied causing injuries to a woman while driving under the influence.
Mikai Fubler, 24 pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to Diara Benjamin on June 25 in Paget while impaired by drug or alcohol.
He also denied causing grievous bodily harm to her on the same date while driving a motorcar having consumed an excess of alcohol.
The matter was adjourned to November 1 and Mr Fubler was granted $5,000 bail with one surety.
