Cyclist Lawrence impresses during St David’s win
Shannon Lawrence produced an impressive performance to win the Men’s Open division at the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s time trial in St David’s on Sunday.
Lawrence, the national champion, completed the 8.7-mile course in 23 minutes and 0.87 seconds, beating Dominique Mayho (23:6.39) into second. Mark Hatherley was third in 24:39.75.
In the Female Open division, Belinda Castree took top honours in 28:19.65 ahead of April Galda-Joyce (29:24.86) and Zoe Roberts (31:47.96).
