Street style: I like colour on my lips, not my clothes

Canjelae Taylor (Canje)/23 yrs old/singer/songwriter/Bermudian based in Los Angles and Atlanta.

Describe your style. 

Comfortable. Not a lot of colours. I tend to like colour on my lips, and not in my clothes.

Walk us through your current outfit and where each item came from:

I got these pants from Forever21 because I thought they looked like 7 For All Mankind knock-offs, so I had to get them.  This jacket is actually a hand-me-down from my mom. The T-shirt, I have no idea, I think it’s from Target. The hat is from Zara and my shoes…I think I actually borrowed them from a friend of mine, and never gave them back!

Three products you can’t live without?

1) Lush facial products, 2) coconut oil, and 3) a good tinted moisturizer.

Which outfit makes you feel sexiest?  

Leather. I love leather, and I love a good little black dress…probably with leather!

Most stylish Bermudian?  

I think I’d have to say it’s between my friend Perry Gold and Shiona Turini.

Most stylish celebrity?  

I love RIP Aaliyah and how she dressed, and I love Nicole Richie. I would definitely steal a lot of stuff from her wardrobe.  

Top three albums or tracks your listening to right now?  

OlafurArnalds,  Little Dragons, and Drake.

Apps you can’t live without? 

Instagram, my Uber app — for getting around Los Angles, and WhatsApp. Without WhatsApp, I wouldn’t be able to talk to any of my Bermudian friends.
