Bermuda HealthCare Services Ltd, as part of its Community Support Initiative, today announced that it would be providing a $10,000 sponsorship to the MIRRORS Programme. MIRRORS, founded in 2007 is a programme designed to raise the self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth of Bermuda’s youth.
Founder and Executive Chairman for BHCS, Dr. Ewart Brown remarked, “The establishment of the MIRRORS Programme in Bermuda is without a doubt one of the proudest moments in my political career. Together with Bermudian community leaders of vision, we fought to bring this programme to Bermuda; because we knew the benefit it would give our island home.”
Dr. Brown concluded, “It is not good enough to simply make money in Bermuda, we at Bermuda HealthCare Services believe that we also have an obligation to give back to Bermuda. Our support of the MIRRORS Programme represents that belief and we wish the Executive, staff and volunteers at MIRRORS much success in the positive work they are doing.”
