Sun Girls/Guys: High fashion models in the making

The City Fashion Festival is eight weeks away and 175 models are preparing to strut down the runway in the festival’s finale on July 12.

Over the next couple of months the most promising young models will be profiled as Sun Girls or Sun Guys. 

You’ll not only see their stunning good looks, but also their career ambitions and other personal beliefs and traits that make them who they are.

“Everyone is ready to learn and open to experience what we have to offer,” said Danilee Trott, the event’s project manager. 

“Preparing for the festival every year is like starting a new chapter in our book of Evolution and we are thrilled with the way this year’s event is shaping up.”

Ms Trott and her team will make selections as part of their models’ Boot Camp and we’ll display those selections every Friday.  

As a prelude to the sure-to-be rigorous selection process we have three Sun models from the past year that are also in this year’s Boot Camp: Sierra Reid, Khiry Mello and Reginna Paynter.We wish them and all the models of the City Fashion Festival good luck as they prepare for the biggest week in local fashion July 7-12, 2014.
